North Poland Ultimate League - English Version

North Poland Ultimate League was created to allow for cyclical games in northern part of the nation, and to increase the level of Ultimate sport for participating teams. Regular games, thanks to low financial requirements, are supose to permit every team to attend and to build up their progress. For the players it is an opportunity to collect experience and to train their skills on the current level of competition. The other mission of the league is to introduce polish Ultimate to the world using photo and video materials.

Nearly one year ago on Battle for Spring we presented you our vision of North Poland Ultimate League. Thanks to Bydgoszcz City Council and Five Ultimate in October we started the first event, and now it’s already the end of the Indoor season of the one and only intercity Ultimate League in Poland. Time is running. We hope that thanks to NPULeague we filled up the space in the winter time and allowed you to play with big fun and progress.
The last North Poland Ultimate League event of 2009-2010 season in next Sunday 14th of March. During 20 games there will be fight for the final standings.
After three Indoor season events on the top of the table having 21 points - Furious Goats from Poznań, which did not lost any game yet. On the second place Bydgoszcz City Astro Disco with 16 points and record of five victories and one tie. On the third place Nine Hills from Chełmno and Uwaga Pies from Poznań both having 9 points and three winning games. Gdańsk city Cool Flights on the place number four - one victory and one tie. On the fifth place Tits Trzemeszno having 3 points and one win game.

We got the dates for indoor 2009/10 season. Here they are:
13.12.2009 Niedziela 16:00 - 22:00
10.01.2010 Niedziela 16:00 - 22:00
30.01.2010 Sobota 10:00 - 16:00
20.02.2010 Sobota 16:00 - 22:00
14.03.2010 Niedziela 10:00 - 16:00

Second NPUL event, but the first indoor one, will take part on Sunday 13th of December from 16:00 to 22:00 in School number 28 on Kromera 11 Street in Bydgoszcz. There will be 7 teams, including Klima - a pickup team. For the first time in NPULeague two teams from Poznań will play - Uwaga Pies i Furious Goats.
